CYPC signed Agreement on Strategic Investment in Hubei Energy Group Co., Ltd. with State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Hubei Provincial People's Government, according to which CYPC would strategically invest RMB 3.1 billion in Hubei Energy to acquire 45% of the equity of the latter.

CYPC successfully issued company bonds of four billion Chinese Yuan, which was the first company bonds in the capital market of China. On October 12, CYPC was listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange with the abbreviated bond name of “07 CYPC Bond” and the code of “122000”.
