Following closely to the overall strategic deployment of CTG, CYPC carries out the development, investment and operation of pumped storage projects proactively and yet prudently. Through exploring and practicing the development concept of "achieving four goals", that is, "building a pumped storage power station, developing a clean energy base, promoting rapid economic development of one region, and forging an excellent team", CYPC has promoted the commencement of the major works of the Zhangye Pumped Storage Power Station. Further, its first "pumped storage +" clean energy base has taken shape. Carrying forward its advantages in talents and technologies for the production and operation of large hydropower station, CYPC operated the first pumped storage power station of CTG — Zhejiang Changlongshan Pumped Storage Power Station through lean O&M. Under the policy of selecting the best from the candidates, a new batch of pumped storage projects are being promoted in order, so as to ensure the high-quality development of pumped storage projects.
